The composers included Claude Debussy, Gabriel Fauré, Reynaldo Hahn, and others. It inspired me to do my own Paul Verlaine song cycle. I purchased his Poémes saturniens on Amazon and saw that there are four collections of his poems. I immediately was drawn to the first one: Melancholia. There are eight poems in the set. 1.
