Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quartet Clarinet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.576663 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by David Warin Solomons. Christian,Christmas,Contemporary. 8 pages. David Warin Solomons #53251. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.576663). Traditional German carol (based on a Thuringian melody Seht wie die Sonne dort sinket from around 1808), originally arranged for choir and now recreated for instrumental quartet. The melody moves through the parts while the other parts represent the ringing of the bells - with a few added cheeky English cadences. Versions are available on this site for string quartet, wind quartet, brass quartet, flute quartet and clarinet quartet and, of course, the original choral setting. The setting for choir, sung by the dwsChorale, can be enjoyed on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivNe0nxlDtU The sound sample for this instrumental version is an electronic preview. The pdf file contains score and parts.
