2 English Ayres

Two songs originally found in the collection Reliquary of English Song, have been edited and arranged to make a wonderful short set for young singers. The first, You Gentlemen of England is a tune dating to the time of Elizabeth I (1533-1603) and is vigorous and lively. The second is The British Grenadiers, a traditional marching song which will allow your young singers a chance to engage themselves physically and sing with the natural energy all directors are trying to harness. / Choeur Mixte SA
