In his Hamburg Concerto Ligeti, inspired by the tonal possibilities of the natural horn, explores alternatives to the well-tempered tonal system. In the orchestra piece he juxtaposes the solo horn with four differently tuned natural horns in the chamber orchestra version. / Cor Et Orchestre
