Brindisi the openning scene from Verdi's opera La Traviata is a sparkling duet and chorus. The opera was based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas La Dame Aux Camelias. La Traviata was premiered in 1853 at La Fenice in Venice and remains to this day one of Verdi's most performed works. This has been written for mixed chorus and Soprano and Tenor Soli with Piano or Orchestra.
