Willem Ten Have (1831 - 1924) was a Dutch violinist and composer who studied under Charles De Beriot before spending the remainder of his long life in France. He wrote around 40 published works mostly for solo Violin or Violin and Piano. The Capriccio for Violin and Piano (Op. 24) was probably written at some point in the 1870s or 1880s while Ten Have was a Professor at the University of Lyon.
