Each of these four instructional sonatas for solo clarinet (transcribed from Barret's famous oboe studies by David Hite) includes a complete accompaniment part for second clarinet making them suitable not just for intermediate toadvanced solo study but also as contest pieces for two clarinets. Also included in this volume are five melodious studies by Delphin Alard.
