French composer organist and pianist Alexandre Boëly (1785-1858) was born into a family of musicians. Having received musical education from an early age Boëly led a successful career. His Organ works remain prominent within the instrument's repertoire. The series of Boëly's Complete Works was assembled by Norbert Dufourcq and Brigitte François-Sappey. The third volume contains a variety of Boëly's most famous works including Noels Chorales and other compositions. For all advanced organists Boëly's Organ works are an essential addition to therepertoire.
