In “The Tower Worm ” Michael Stahl loses no time in bringing students and teachers together at the very start of students’ piano lessons. The Primo part is easy as pie and does not exceed a range of five notes. Chordal symbols in the Secondo part encourage free accompaniments. The pieces themselves are colorful ranging from swinging and rocking to humorous and evocative of film music.
