Plenty of Horn was commissioned by the Seattle Symphony as part of its Echoes project featuring classical works transformed and reinterpreted by contemporary composers. The 4-minute work is based on the familiar Trumpet Voluntary ofJeremiah Clarke with the melody assembled from fragments and layers of register.
