Born in 1903 Percy Whitlock was one of the most outstanding organist-composers of his time. Following his death Whitlock's music was largly undiscovered by organists until a revival of interest in English music during the 1980's brought it to their attention. Now the full scope of Whitlock's output is beginning to be realised and his music is recieving the attention and respect it deserves.
