This short anthem with words by M. R. Peacocke was commissioned by the Musicians Benevolent Fund and was first performed at the 2006 festival of Saint Cecilia service in St. Paul’s Cathedral London by the combined choirs of St. Paul’s Cathedral Westminster Abbey and Westminster Cathedral under the direction of Malcolm Archer.
