Anders Nordentoft's Gospel for Clarinet in Bb and Organ (2017). This six-minute work for clarinet and organ is a modest homage to Gospel music based on an instantly recognisable cliché. Is this sincerity or irony Playful rather than satirical Nordentoft launches the motif on an unpretentious journey taking it for a gentle sometimes energetic stroll which allows the listener to make of it what they will and create their own narrative. Neither the clarinet nor the organ parts make demands in this easy-going work. - Organists' Review
