Symphony No.3-The Pastoral Symphony premiered on January 26 1922 and somewhat puzzled audiences with its rejection of the established classical themes in favour of a more folk based work. Nevertheless it continues to rise in popularity and is firmly settled amongst Vaughan Williams greatest works. This is the Study Score for Full Orchestra and Solo Soprano or Tenor.
