Premiered by his own Carmel (IN) High School Band at the 2006 Midwest Clinic in Chicago Richard Saucedo's stunningly beautiful hymn is a tribute to his alma mater (Indiana University) and dedicated to his former band director Ray Cramer. Opening and closing with a haunting and chant-like flugelhorn solo this work features rich harmonies creative use of mixed meters and chorale-like textures all combined in a marvelously effect setting.
