Colloquy for Flute and Piano was commissioned by Ingrid Culliford with funds provided by the Arts Council of Great Britain. The first performance was given by Ingrid Culliford and Shelagh Sutherland as part of a recital at theWigmore Hall on 2nd June 1979.
