A Set of Ten Violin Duets by the dynamic American composer Ezra Laderman dedicated to his wife Aimlee. These pieces were composed in 1998 and are miniature meditations each composed in a single session of a day or even just afew hours. Laderman’s contemporary thirst is evident where he seeks out unusual formal structures for his compositions and though laid out as a set of duets they can be performed together as a vast work with a cumulativeartistic weight through the comparison and contrast of styles.
