A review in the July/August issue of Choir and Organ magazine stated that Orgelbogen is comprised of 'rigorous works in and uncompromising idiom by a major figure far removed from the world of the Anglican organ loft and choir stalls' concluding that '[a]nyone with an interest in contemporary composition for organ should investigate this - it's a beacon of clear-minded compositional integrity. A review in the May-July 2016 edition of 'The Organ' Magazine states that 'the inherentquality' of this publication makes it 'very strongly recommended to organists of all ages and technical accomplishment.'
