from the Klos' Celebrated Method for Clarinet-Joseph Küffner (1776-1856) is best remembered for his contributions to Guitar literature and indirectly Clarinet methods. Of his compositions for winds a set of duets for Oboe and Clarinet (op. 80) have become standards for students. Adapted by Simeon Bellison and added to the famous Klosé Celebrated Method for Clarinet these works have become an integral part in Clarinet pedagogy. Excerpted from the larger method these duets have been carefully re-engraved in an affordable and easy-to-read edition. A welcome edition for students teachers and enthusiasts alike.
