Poul Ruders' Trio Transcendentale for Organ was commissioned by The 12th Carl Nielsen International Organ Competition Odense in 2011.A review in the May-July 2016 issue of 'The Organ' magazine states that this piece 'has the character to make a notable impression in recital programming.'
