Hyacinthe Klose was the favourite pupil of Frederic Berr at the Paris Conservatoire. It was his Clarinet School which made his name famous and in 1869 he recieved the cross of a Knight of the Legion of Honour. This edition is a free translation and adaptation of the original edition of the Methode Pour Clarinette from 1845. It has been re-arranged in a more progressive manner and technical developments of the last years have been taken into account.
