Commissioned by the Dunedin Consort in 2006 Errollyn Wallen's Comfort Me with Apples is for soloists and instrumental ensemble and sets words from The Song of Songs. First performed by Susan Hamilton (soprano) Matthew Brook (bass) and the Dunedin Consort conducted by John Butt at the Queen's Hall Edinburgh on 22 September 2006.
