Par MASHIMA TOSHIO. Toshio Mashima composed this work for the 40th anniversary of the concert band of the Kwansei-Gakuin University in Japan. The composition is based on the biblical story of the patriarch Jacob, who in a dream sees a ladder reaching into the sky.
