The champagne cellars of Mercier in Epernay were the source of inspiration for this composition. The title has been aptly chosen: Cin Cin means ‘cheers’ in Italian. The various themes and melodies refer to different aspects of the champagne production, and especially to the specific cellars of the Champagne region. A remarkable, sparkling composition.
