Par KODALY ZOLTAN. Kodály's 'Ave Maria' was composed for a three-part a cappella women's choir in 1935. The Cecilia Choir of the Roman-Catholic Theological University performed the premiere of this piece on December, 8th 1936 in Eger (Hungary). The conductor was Dezsö Bitter.
