Par SCHUMANN ROBERT. Although Schumann’s style suits the clarinet extremely well, he did not write a great deal for the instrument – The Three Romances Op. 94 were written for oboe, with clarinet and violin as suggested alternatives. The Three Romances contrast strongly with one another, and this is important to bring out when interpreting these delightful miniatures. This version is for Clarinet with Piano Accompaniment and has been edited by Yona Ettlinger. The solo Clarinet in A and Clarinet in B flat parts are also included on separate inserts./ Répertoire / Clarinette et Piano
