Par SCHUTZ HEINRICH. In his role as Kapellmeister to the Dresden court Heinrich Schutz composed 'Zwölf Geistliche Gesänge' for the Saxon court church. Six of them belong to the liturgy of the 'German Mass'. They can be sung individually as well as in their entirety, today as well as then, even by 'small cantors' - as Schutz wanted it to be 'to the honour of God'.
