Par STEPHENSON JOSEPHINE. “Assemble, first, all casual bits and scraps / That may shake down into a world, perhaps […]” (Robert Graves, The Devil’s Advice to Storytellers). Those were the words that led me on the composition of this short piece: an assemblage of a variety of little motifs, chords and textures, heard progressively in different combinations, separately or together, across the two mirror duos of percussionists that compose the quartet.
