Romantic piano music is particulary suitable for awakening and encouraging the pupil's desire to play with expression. In Volumes 2 and 3 of The European Piano Method (ED 7931, 7932, 7933) this expressive, cantabile playing is particularly encouraged. The two romantic supplementary books are specifically intended to further these qualities.
