Richard Proulx's excellent gift of composing lyrical vocal lines is outlined in this lovely anthem based on the beloved chant Salve Regina. The alto and bass provide the supporting harmonies to the alternating tenor and soprano voices who carry the melody. His thoughtful placement of meter signatures aids in the accuracy of pronunciation of the Latin text.
