Published by Laurendale Associates (MN.CH-1267). Magnificat was written for the Fall 2004 tour of Cantori Domino to York, England and performance during Evensong at York Minster. The accompanying Nunc Dimittis, was written shortly after the completion of the Magnificat. The piece utilizes the Gregoria Chant as the main theme and is quite lively with changing meters and shifting tonalities, giving life and buoyancy to this traditional text. Instrumentation :
