String extraordinaire is a progressive collection of classical, traditional, folk, and original compositions for performance by students of different playing levels. All pieces are scored with an advanced and a beginning part for each instrument. The contents are organized to take string students through the school year beginning fall and culminating with end-of-the-year concerts.
