This beautiful arrangement of two well-beloved Christmas carols is simplistic but musically very interesting. Both piano and organ mimic distant chiming bells in the opening section of "Silent Night," bringing a quietly mysterious air to the piece. In the bridge section, both instruments switch to "Joy To The World" with a boisterous, joyful rendition. Then both instruments return to the original melody, ending with the same haunting chimes that opened the piece. A magnificent addition to any Christmas program.
