Composed for the Phoenix Music Teachers Association, 54th Annual Piano Ensemble, Phoenix Blues is a "cool" duet for one piano, four hands. Students get to snap their fingers, while playing blues style bass lines and syncopated rhythms in a relaxed swing style.
