Friedrich Hermann, the arranger of these works for violin, cello and piano duet, is not listed in any standard musical reference books. However, according to F. Pazdirek's Universal-Handbuch der Musikliteratur Aller Zeiten und Volker, he made at least several arrangements of various works, usually involving at least one piano.
