Renaissance Festival and Dances is an elegant three movement suite of works by 16th century composers Tielman Susato and Antony Holborne. An excellent vehicle for introducing this significant period in music history, the suite opens with a Moderato 2/4 movement entitiled "Festival," followed by an Andante 4/4 "Pavane." The suite concludes with an Allegretto 3/4 "Courtly Dance.".
