This is music at the Grade 1 jazz level that correlates with specific units in the Jazz Basics improvisation method, as well as with Jamey Aebersold's Volume 1: Jazz: How to Plan and Improvise. It is performance music that works with flexible instrumentation requiring as few as four horns and piano, bass and drums. Each piece includes a CD with the full performance as well as solo practice tracks. All the rhythm section parts are fully notated and include chord symbols. The theme of this B-flat blues is constructed using only three notes. It doesn't get any easier than this!
