Marcello's Six Sonatas have become a mainstay of the Trombone literature. This masterful critical edition of Sonatas 1-3 (the final 3 will be published in late 2008) by Professor Mike Hall of Old Dominion University includes a descriptive booklet of his own suggestions for Baroque ornamentation.
