Benny Carter wrote this swing-era classic in 1931 and initially arranged it for Chick Webb's band. Benny revised his interpretation of the tune several times over the years settling on this arrangement recorded by the American Jazz Orchestra. The A sections of this arrangement are set in a medium rumba feel while the bridge swings. The solos are for alto saxophone and trombone. There is also an open solo section included. This is not hard to play and is a great example of Benny's writing. Ranges: Trumpet 1: C6 Trombone 1: A4.
