The brooding, penitent nature of this John Dunne text ("Wilt thou forgive that sin where I begun?") is well matched in the music all the way to a hopeful, reassuring ending. Flute and cello--available separately--are optional, but quite nice to have. Parts also include an option for B-flat treble instrument.
