This communion piece is appropriate for Easter Vigil, Easter Day, and the entire Easter season. Both antiphon and verses use melodic material from the original Gregorian chant Communion Antiphon for Easter Sunday from the Graduale Romanum. The antiphon is accessible for congregations, while the verses feature more substantial writing for cantor or choir and nicely idiomatic writing for organ. Part of the Cathedral Series.
