The 'contemplation' section of this arrangement evokes the sedate mood of many of the hymn texts with which it is associated; the random ringing, singing bells and mellow tone of the handchimes all contribute to the soothing effect. The 'dance' section introduces a more celebratory mood, with a quicker tempo, featuring the use of mallets, Ring Touch and Martellato techniques plus optional hand drum. In addition a Flute part which enhances both sections may be added.
