An earlier, pre-spatial work by Brant, All Souls Carnival was written in conjunction with a project by film maker/artist Len Lye for the latter's film of the same name. The two worked separately, so that the combined experience would "happen by chance." Brant's film score is humorous, at times almost cartoonish, to appeal to a post-Depression audience which had lost interest in more contemporary sounds. Six movements; dur.: 16'.
