In september 2008 Gianluca Cangemi, a friend of mine and an excellent music composer purposed me writing something for Davide Bandieri, whose he already was a fervent admirer; I was stroke too by beauty and clearness of Davide's sound, so I decided to writing for him. In this Fantasia - in traditional ABA structure - I tried to give a "part" for every register and every sound emission technic of the instrument, simulating a chamber orchestra's sound. The composition begins and finishes with an "archaic savour" melody, which irregular rithmic beating and which harmonic way (more guessed than perceived) always arises from rethoric sense of phrases, like a popular singing. The central piece has got all dance's charatheristics, where pseudo-polyphonyc elements and first part's quotations appear and keep afloat under a new light, like we see them though a prism.
