Lyrical and lovely, this anthem from Jean Anne Shafferman is easily prepared but will make any choir sound full. Its formal structure is that of a chaconne, an historical form that was a favorite of early Baroque composers. The anthem's voicing is flexible, performable as SATB or SAB.
