"Happy (from One Foot in the Swamp)" is a medium-funky chart that is guaranteed to put a smile on anybody's face. A hip and clever composition from John Ellis and arranged by Jamey Simmons, this chart has wonderful ensemble passages with lots of solo space for tenor saxophone. Brass ranges are very reasonable and rhythmic difficulty is at a minimum, making this chart accessible for most any band. 5-4-4-4.
