As the title may suggest, primal energy is key in this guttural new piece from composer Sean O'Loughlin. After a dissonant fanfare the piece drives forward with angular rhythms and biting harmonies. A short lyrical section gives the listener a nice break before charging like a runaway horse to a dramatic conclusion.
