Psalm 23 is set here in a calm and serene composition. The piece begins with a flowing organ or piano accompaniment, followed by an opening original section featuring the treble voices. As the men's voices enter, the treble voices begin singing the familiar CRIMOND tune over the top of the original melody. This makes for a very effective setting of this widely used psalm.
