Margaret Goldston introduces us to her very own puppy named Mozart in this delightful solo. Her puppy truly does love to play the piano as we learn through the lyrics of this piece. Students play in Middle C position in 3/4 meter. There are a few accidentals representing Mozart's bark and the black keys that he likes to play. Teachers will appreciate the nod to the real Mozart in Margaret's use of his Minuet in F Major, K. 2 in the melody. This solo makes a wonderful learning link to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Students will be pleased to know that the dog on the cover is taken from a photo of Margaret's puppy
