This setting of the hymn tune BEACH SPRING has several touches that give it an early American sound - simple, open harmonies, a rhythmically altered melody and the plaintive sound of the oboe, among others. All this is perfectly matched by Richard Gillard's wonderful text of servanthood in the Body of Christ. Appropriate for Unity and general worship.
